The Information Security Analyst manages the information technology infrastructure of remote locations, performs Help Desk activities and provides technical advice and support to system end users. This position maintains, upgrades, and supports all IT systems including servers, PCs, software peripherals and office automation equipment.  Furthermore, the Information Security Analyst analyzes and assesses vulnerabilities in the infrastructure (Software, Hardware, Networks), investigates available tools and countermeasures to remedy the detected vulnerabilities, and recommends solutions and best practices. Analyzes and assesses damage to the data/infrastructure as a result of security incidents, examines available recovery tools and processes, and recommends solutions. Tests for compliance with the security policies and procedures. May assist in the creation, implementation, and/or management of security solutions.




  • Provisioning of end-user services, including help desk and technical support services
  • Manage the deployment, monitoring, maintenance, development, upgrade and support of all IT systems, servers, PCs operating systems, hardware, software peripherals and office automation equipment for locations
  • Assist in identifying and procuring the hardware and software needed to satisfy user requirements
  • Manage the deployment, monitoring, maintenance, development, upgrade and support of all IT telecommunication systems, including cell phones and phone systems
  • Practice asset management for IT hardware, software and equipment
  • Manage verification and approval of IT expenses with vendors for corporate or business units
  • Manage IT set-ups for new locations, renovations and relocations



  • Assist in research and procurement of computer accessories and supplies
  • Connect users to networks and provide initial training in IT systems and applications
  • Administer and maintain library of IT end user support information including best practices, frequently asked questions and software and hardware tutorials
  • Administer e-mail, anti-virus systems and other systems as needed
  • Serve as liaison between IT and telecommunication vendors to address complaints and resolve problems
  • Continually seek out ways to improve and promote quality and efficiency for all IT systems and processes
  • Keep current with the latest technologies



  • Help prevent attacks through expertise and knowledge of databases, networks, hardware, firewalls and encryption.
  • Seek to prevent hackers from accessing or divulging private or sensitive information/data.
  • Help avert untold losses in productivity and dollars.



  • Responsible for identifying and “patching” any security weakness found.
  • Makes recommendations for security hardware and software.
  • Review violations to prevent future occurrences.
  • Regulates access to computer files
  • Performs risk assessments and test data procession systems to verify security measures.







  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.


  • Bachelor’s degree in Cybersecurity or Computer Science
  • Typically 4+ years of progressive and relevant experience in cybersecurity and/or network/infrastructure support. Demonstrated project management experience. 

Functional/Technical Competency Requirements

  • Ability to work well with all levels of management and with minimum supervision
  • Demonstrated experience in network monitoring and advanced troubleshooting. Demonstrated ability to analyze and implement cybersecurity solutions. CISA, GIAC, CISSP or similar certification.
  • Excellent organizational, communication (verbal and written), and interpersonal skills, including helpfulness and patience in dealing with fellow employees
  • Ability to manage difficult situations, respond promptly to end-user needs and solicit end-user feedback to improve service and systems


  • Demonstrated experience with network, server, or desktop change control procedures.  CSIRT (Computer Security Incident Response Team) experience.  Information technology fraud and forensic analysis experience.  CFE or similar certification

The employee is required to practice, recognize, and interpret safety precautions and follow safety rules and OSHA requirements as they relate to the job. The employee is required to work in an indoor environment. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate.


This position requires the ability to think quickly on your feet while maintaining a level head. The ability to defuse sensitive issues is mandatory.
