Energy Systems Group, LLC is looking for a Project Accountant to join our team. This fast-paced role allows for interaction with individuals throughout the organization as well as with internal and external customers, suppliers, and other resources.
The Project Accountant is responsible for managing all administrative and accounting aspects of a portfolio of projects in a professional and knowledgeable manner. The project accountant keeps both administration and project management informed, on a timely basis, of the status of projects, especially those that deviate from expectations / norm. In addition, the project accountant manages other various accounting assignments and responsibilities as assigned.
The ideal candidate will have the ability to review and understand project contracts, timelines, and scope of work, be self-motivated and able to work with minimum supervision, possess strong written and verbal communication skills, and be proficient in Microsoft Office products including Excel and Outlook. Maturity and professionalism, as well as the ability to exercise discretion and independent judgment will drive success in this role.
