  • Overview

    The Measurement and Verification (M&V) Analyst will be a member of the Public Sector’s M&V Team. The M&V Analyst must be a highly capable, detail oriented individual working for the corporate office of a fast growing company. The Measurement and Verification Analyst is responsible for the on-going monitoring, verification, and reporting of savings associated with energy savings guarantees. This individual must be self-motivated and able to work independently, but must also possess the ability to effectively interface with many internal & external customers on a daily basis. Other job duties include any other departmental assignments as directed by the Manager of Measurement and Verification. This is a full-time salaried position reporting to the Manager of Measurement and Verification.


    • Measurement and Verification Responsibilities for assigned Customer Projects
    • Proactively analyze and summarize all assigned Customer Projects which are performing as expected as well as those presently demonstrating the characteristics of producing an energy savings shortfall in relation to our annual energy guarantee. This responsibility lasts from the construction phase throughout the life of the energy savings guarantee
    • Alerting Manager of Measurement and Verification as well as applicable Field Staff of any Customer Projects demonstrating shortfalls and working with all to resolve deficiencies and work to resolution
    • Responsible for the creation of high quality M&V reports as directed by the customer’s contract
    • Ability to effectively communicate with technical and non-technical customers both internally & externally
    • Staying current on any changes to IPMVP, FEMP Protocol, or reporting requirements
    • Attaining CMVPIT or CMVP Certification
    • Participate in training, and departmental meetings

    • Bachelor’s Degree and previous work history in one of the following fields: measurement and verification, energy, banking, customer service, teaching, scheduling, contracting, accounting, data analytics.


    • Bachelor’s degree from an accredited university or college in business, law, finance, engineering, math, or related field, or five or more years verified experience in energy or building or facility management, or measurement and verification. Proficient use of Microsoft suite of products.


    • Ability to read, analyze and interpret professional journals, technical procedures, measurement and verification protocols, or government regulations
    • Ability to compose and write correspondence and reports
    • Ability to effectively present information as required
    • Ability to define problems, collect all necessary data, establish facts, draw valid conclusions, exercise discretion and independent judgement
