The Lighting Construction Superintendent coordinates all aspects of project execution of the Lighting scope of work, ensuring a smooth transition from the design phase to the installation and on-going service and support phase of the completed project. This includes, but is not limited to, advising and assisting the Lighting Engineer in estimating and managing the account, conferring with engineering personnel on technical information, procuring and managing outside contractors, scheduling project phases and training customers’ maintenance personnel. The Lighting Construction Superintendent acts as primary point of contact for all internal personnel, external contractors, subcontractors and customer agents to coordinate all aspects of project installation. Ensures that projects are completed on time, within budget and that customers are satisfied with both the installation process and the end result.
The Lighting Construction Superintendent must be able to communicate effectively with both ESG Project Manager and the customer. The Lighting Construction Superintendent must have a working knowledge of lighting systems, the scope of work, and be able to trouble shoot lighting issues and report to the Lighting Engineer. The Lighting Construction Superintendent will be the point person on site during installation and will be responsible for all the day-to-day operations in the field.
